El Eco Mercado in Elviria is Marbella’s principal farmers’ market for certified organic produce. Organised by the non-profit Guadalhorce Ecológico association, it brings together local producers in the open-air surroundings of Pinar de Elviria. 

For anyone looking for an organic food market in Marbella, it offers seasonal fruit and vegetables alongside honey, olive oil, cheese, bread, preserves and other locally produced food. The selection changes naturally throughout the agricultural year.

The market takes place on the first and third Saturday of each month from 9 AM–2 PM. Parking is normally relatively straightforward, but check the organiser’s latest calendar before travelling in case an individual date changes.

Seasonal and Artisan Markets in Marbella

In addition to its traditional weekly street markets and permanent Marbella food markets, the city hosts seasonal artisan markets offering crafts, fashion, jewellery, accessories and decorative items. The market is open from 11 AM–midnight from Monday to Thursday and from 11 AM–1 AM from Friday to Sunday. Its long evening hours make it an easy stop before or after dinner in Puerto Banús.

During the summer, the square is normally filled with stalls selling handmade jewellery, ceramics, decorative pieces, clothing, accessories, fragrances and gifts.

There is underground parking beneath Plaza Antonio Banderas, although the area can become very busy on summer evenings.
