The published route summary currently shows departures between approximately 05:30 and 18:30, but the number and times vary according to the date, weekend schedule and season. After arriving in Ardales, you will need to take a taxi to the northern access area near Restaurante El Kiosko and then walk through one of the access tunnels to the control point. 3. Ronda to Caminito del Rey by Train

Travelling from Ronda to Caminito del Rey by train is possible, although there is no direct service. Current journeys require one change at Antequera-Santa Ana.

The first train normally leaves Ronda at approximately 07:26 and reaches El Chorro-Caminito del Rey at 09:33, taking around two hours. From El Chorro, take the Caminito shuttle to the Northern Access and then allow another 20–35 minutes to walk to the control point. For this reason, choose an entrance time no earlier than approximately 11:00–11:30.

For the return journey, the most practical train currently leaves El Chorro at approximately 18:01 and reaches Ronda at 21:03, again requiring a change at Antequera-Santa Ana. The trail ends at El Chorro village, so you can easily walk back to the train station.
